Metu knows the distant life of a wild mustang as he was born in the wild with his horse nation family. It is because of this distant memory that Metu strikes one as different from the other horses, not only in his feeling but even down to the very fibers of his being.
Metu’s movements, gestures and sounds are all very expressive. His body is softly sung like a qigong master and his gait, and changes in motions, have a particular breathtaking grace. Metu is a delightful character and his play with Dawn is very entertaining. He makes sure to assert himself as a valuable member of the herd by moving Dawn around regularly. She always responds with ear-pinning tail-flicking sass as she submits to his commands…we all know she secretly likes it, and Metu knows it must constantly be done to keep the balance. The humans and other horses appreciate his work.
